Ingredients

  • 300 g of rice
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • ½ onion finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped.
  • 2 carrots diced
  • ½ red paprika cubed.
  • 2 cups of water or chicken broth.
  • 150 g of peas.
  • 150 g of sweet corn.
  • Salt to taste.

Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat the oil, add the onion and cook until it is transparent. Add the garlic, carrot, and paprika, cook for five more minutes.
  • Add the rice and pearl until the rice is covered with oil and integrated with the other ingredients.
  • Add the 2 cups of water and cook until boiling. Lower the heat.
  • Add the peas and cornstarch, cook for ten more minutes, stir and serve.
