Quick Sancocho Cream Soup
- 1 packet of La Sopera or Maggi
- 4 cups of water
- 1 cup of potatoes chopped into small cubes Optional
Traditional Sancocho Cream Soup
- 3 cups traditional sancocho with broth.
In a slow cooker, add three cups of water over medium heat.
Dissolve the packet of La Sopera or Maggi in a cup of cold water and then add it to the pot with the hot water. (No need to add condiments, not even salt, as the packet includes everything)
Add the chopped potatoes, and continue cooking for another 15 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
Remember to be stirring constantly, to avoid the cream sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Traditional Sancocho Cream Soup
Add the sancocho to the blender (Don't add meat or chicken bones). Process for a minute or until you have the desired texture.
If the cream is too thick, you can add more sancocho broth.
