- 250 g wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 30 g of milk powder.
- 40 g of butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder.
- Warm water.

Sift the flour, and add the egg, sugar, powdered milk, butter, salt, and baking powder, mix until it forms a compact but very soft dough, adding warm water little by little.
Cut the balls of equal size and form the arepas with your hand or with the help of a lid or plate, flatten up the arepas.
In a hot iron, cook over low heat, letting it cook, on the one hand, and then turn it over to cook on the other.
Once cooked, open the inside, spread butter, and stuffed with cheese. And ready.
