- 2 cups of white rice.
- 4 cups of vegetable broth chicken or water.
- 1 cup of diced or grated carrot.
- Oil.
- 1 onion.
- 1 garlic clove.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
In a pot, fry the finely chopped garlic and onion with a little oil, and then add the diced or grated carrot.
Fry a little and add the cups of rice. What we will do is pearl it before cooking it.
Continue frying all the ingredients for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally so they do not burn.
After this time, add the broth, salt, pepper, and more oil if necessary or to your liking and stir.
Bring to a boil over high heat, and when the water has dried up, cover the pot, lower the heat and let it cook for another 15 minutes more.
