Ingredients

  • 1 kg of ripe tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of sugar

Instructions

  • Peel the onion and cut finely, just like garlic.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the oil and add the onion and garlic. Mix and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  • Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, remove the stem, chop and add to the skillet.
  • Add also the salt and sugar, and mix well.
  • Let cook for 30 minutes and then mash.
  • You can strain it or consume it like that.
