Today we are going to prepare a delicious cabbage salad, you can use it to accompany your lunch or even for a healthy meal accompanied by a portion of grilled meat.

Ingredients

  • ½ Small cabbage cut into thin strips
  • 1 Medium tomato chopped into slices or small pieces
  • ½ Small onion cut into slices (Optional)
  • 1 Small carrot grated
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Chopped cilantro to taste
  • Cheese Optional
  • Salt to taste Optional

Instructions

  • In a little bit of water, boil the cabbage for about 3 minutes over medium-high heat. This is to eliminate any possible bacteria. Drain the water.
  • Mix the cabbage, tomato, onion, carrot, cheese (if you use it), and cilantro. Finally, add the lemon juice and salt to taste, in a large pot or bowl.
