Homemade Cream

Ingredients

Recipe 1

  • 350 g milk.
  • 300 g butter.
  • 2 ½ tablespoons sugar.

Recipe 2

  • 350 g milk.
  • 150 g butter.
  • 2 ½ tablespoons sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch.

Instructions

Method 1:

  • Place a pot on the stove on low heat. Add milk and butter, broken into small pieces. Stir continuously until the butter melts, ensuring the mixture doesn't boil.
  • Once the butter is melted, remove from heat and blend immediately. Blend for about 3 minutes or until the mixture becomes frothy.
  • Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  • After refrigeration, add sugar, stir gently, and it's ready.

Method 2:

  • In a pot, add butter and milk and bring to medium heat. Add sugar and stir continuously.
  • Dissolve the cornstarch in a little milk and add it to the mixture, stirring constantly.

    Notes

    • If you want a shorter process of time, you can reduce the butter to one tablespoon and add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Bring to the heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
