- 300 g of rice
- 3 tablespoons oil
- ½ onion finely chopped.
- 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped.
- 2 carrots diced
- ½ red paprika cubed.
- 2 cups of water or chicken broth.
- 150 g of peas.
- 150 g of sweet corn.
- Salt to taste.
In a large pot, heat the oil, add the onion and cook until it is transparent. Add the garlic, carrot, and paprika, cook for five more minutes.
Add the rice and pearl until the rice is covered with oil and integrated with the other ingredients.
Add the 2 cups of water and cook until boiling. Lower the heat.
Add the peas and cornstarch, cook for ten more minutes, stir and serve.
