Ingredients

  • 6 chicken pieces.
  • ½ cup rice.
  • 2 potatoes.
  • 1 or 2 garlic cloves.
  • ½ cup carrot.
  • 1 green onion stalk.
  • 8 cups of water.
  • ½ cup peas.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cilantro.

Notas

  • For a quicker process, use a pressure cooker. The first cooking phase with the chicken will only take 7 minutes, and when adding the rice, just 10 minutes more.
Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

  • Wash the potatoes, carrot, green onion, and garlic thoroughly.
  • Slice the potato and dice or chop the carrot, green onion, and garlic finely.
  • In a pot, add the water with all the ingredients, except the rice, potato, and cilantro.
  • Cook for about 25 minutes or until the chicken is almost ready.
  • Then, add the rice and potatoes and continue cooking for another 25 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Done!
  • Serve hot and garnish with fresh cilantro.
